Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

The CRM Lead plays a key role in developing the museum's CRM strategy to strengthen audience relationships, increase engagement and visitation, and grow the value of the museum's audience database and loyalty programmes.

With demonstrable experience developing CRM strategies, audience communication journeys and loyalty programmes, the CRM Lead will identify opportunities to improve how the museum acquires, engages and retains audiences across MyMuseum, Museum Membership and other databases. The role will lead the strategic development of CRM capability, including communication journeys, audience data, ticketing enhancements and marketing technology improvements, working collaboratively across the museum to deliver a more connected experience.

This role is responsible for:

  • Leading the development of a CRM strategy and audience journeys
  • Ownership of our CRM platform, alongside data and capability development
  • Leading loyalty and audience engagement programmes

This role is part-time, with 16 hours to be worked in the office between Tuesday-Thursday.

  • Experienced in developing and implementing successful CRM strategy and programmes
  • Experience in enhancing CRM programmes
  • Strong project management background
  • A keenness to stay at the forefront of the impact of AI on marketing, tourism and destination marketing
  • Experience managing external suppliers and agencies
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams
