Job Description
Mō te tūranga | About the role
We’re looking for a Marketing Coordinator to cover a 12-month parental leave. They will play a support role in helping the entire Marketing team to drive awareness of and visitation to the Museum and contributes to the Museum’s reputation and brand externally with all stakeholders and audiences.
This support will primarily exist across the writing and sending eDM’s in alignment with the CRM strategy, managing website content and event listings, and deliver onsite and offsite collateral and general marketing activity.
This role is responsible for:
Writing and sending all eDMs to our databases, alongside robust optimisation and reporting
Producing and loading all content to our website and external listing sites
Coordinate marketing campaign support across campaigns, exhibitions, events, education, and commercial activities
Support the team in delivery of all other marketing activities, including content, resources, and collateral
Desired Skills and Experience
Ō pūmanawa | What you will bring
Experienced in developing, implementing, measuring and reporting on website content created for marketing purposes. Ideally with experience in producing varied types of content within digital platforms, ideally StoryBlock
Experience in writing/publishing for digital channels and multiple audiences, with an effective writing style that is consistent with the Auckland Museum brand
Experience working within CRM systems, database management, establishing segmented journeys, and sending eDMs
A keenness to stay at the forefront of the impact of Ai on marketing, tourism and destination marketing
Experience in digital marketing with knowledge of SEO/SEM and ads manager
Some project management experience would be advantageous
Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams, external suppliers and agencies
Some experience with finance systems and administrative tasks
