Job Description

Mō te tūranga | About the role

The full time and permanent Asset Manager – Built Structure has a focus on building fabric and weathertightness but also encompasses a broad and unique range of asset management tasks, distinct to the Museum environment.

This role is responsible for:

  • End to end project management of significant renewals projects.
  • Asset management, utilising and maintaining our SPM data base.
  • A focus on building fabric and weather-tightness.
  • Specific repair and maintenance tasks

We may consider applicants in a developing capacity, provided you can demonstrate capability in some of our required technical areas.

 

Desired Skills and Experience


Ō pūmanawa | What you will bring

  • Project management / construction / large-scale property maintenance experience.
  • Asset management experience, utilising data bases and creating budgets from evidence.
  • Ability to produce documentation suited to project management including presentations for ET and/or Board level.
  • Multi-tasking and self-starting.
  • Stakeholder / communication / people-skills.
  • Sense of humour and team-player.
