Auckland War Memorial Museum: Connecting through sharing stories of people, lands and seas

Auckland Museum is a much-loved culture and heritage organisation. At the heart of everything we do is the impact we aim to have in the world: to support an inclusive society of engaged and informed communities where identities, cultures and our natural environment thrive under the korowai of Te Tiriti o Waitangi. The mahi of our staff and volunteers contribute to this aspiration by connecting people with taonga, sharing engaging content through our galleries, exhibitions, events and education programmes, and creating new knowledge through research.

We are Auckland's home of commemoration, a tourism destination, events centre and the country’s oldest research institution.
